Join Eve Harvey of besom from Prince Edward County for an evening of hand-tying natural fibre brushes for your home!
Eve will tell us the story behind besom, how her family balances their creative, personal, and professional lives and natural fibres and foraged wood as a medium. She will then lead us through the process of handtying besom's best selling mini brush, which you will be able to take home with you at the end of the night!

besom are broom and brush makers nestled in beautiful Prince Edward County. Their craft is rooted in a deep respect for the land and a commitment to sustainability. We source our wood from local woodlands ensuring each broom and brush carries a piece of the County's unique character.
They believe that functionality and design are not mutually exclusive. Their brooms and brushes are meticulously crafted to be exceptionally effective cleaning tools. The natural textures of the wood, combined with the purposeful arrangement of the bristles, create objects that are not only utilitarian but also aesthetically pleasing. Sustainability is at the forefront of their practice, using traditional broom-making techniques that minimize waste and rely on human skill rather than industrial processes.
